ABOUT
Wacker Neuson Unilateral Roller RD18
The Wacker Neuson RD18-100 is best known for its drum width of 1 metre. For a compaction roller of this size, it is almost unheard of! As the RD18-80 is around 100kgs lighter but looses 200mm on drum width while the RD18-100 adds that weight to the drums for a deeper compaction.
This Wacker Neuson is equipped with unilateral drum lifting point for the ultimate compaction performance right to the edge. Using its articulated pendulum joint, the rollers stay aligned when turning for a double compaction over the same area covered by the back drum as the first drum. This model Wacker Neuson is finally equipped with a central lifting point to get it into smaller job sites with ease!
