Typically we supply 3 buckets on the hire of excavators; trench, dig and trim. If you need other specialized buckets and/or attachments, we offer a wide selection as well. Browse our attachment range, or contact one of our friend staff today.

If you hire on a 30-day account and your company uses purchase orders, please ensure you supply a PO before the equipment is released.

We offer 50% stand down for no use and project related hold ups. For inclement weather, such as heavy rain or extreme heat, we offer 100% stand down. No stand downs apply to attachments.

Please notify us by 9 am to stand down equipment as we do not backdate stand downs. If equipment is used at all on a stand down day, the stand down will be null & void.

We do not charge a 24 hour cycle hire.  We charge for each day that the equipment is used, regardless of the hours used.  For example if you use the equipment for 1 hour on the first day and 3 hours on the second day, you will pay for two days hire, even if it is within a 24 hour cycle. Please note this so-as to avoid any dispute on hire charges at the end of the hire.

Our equipment will come to you with a full tank of fuel.  Whatever we fill up with will be charged to you at $3 excl GST per litre of fuel.  We will take a deposit for a full tank of fuel.  The balance not used will be refunded to you at the end of the hire.

In our ongoing process improvements, we have some new software to eliminate paperwork and streamline our processes.  Going forward you will receive and EDocument email close to your hire commencing.  Kindly click on the link, check your Hire Schedule and if you are happy with the contents, click on the “Sign Document” button at the bottom of the page. If there is something you are not happy with, please contact us to discuss or rectify.

You need to call us to off hire when you are done.  Hire charges will apply until such time. Please check out our off-hire process for more information.

Payment for equipment and hire items is upon pick up, and in some cases a deposit may be required. At the discretion of RAM Equipment, 30 day payment terms are available once an Account Application has been signed and returned. Refer to our Terms & Conditions page for full details. Yes, RAM Equipment is able to offer competitive finance packages though our preferred suppliers. Speak to one of our friendly staff for further details.

Should you hire on a cash basis, payment will need to be made upfront for the full hire and transport to and from site before the equipment leaves our yard.  Should the hire extend past the estimated hire period, a further payment will be required before the hire extends.
