Hamm Smooth Drum Roller (14T)

The 3000 series roller is a smooth drum compactor built to take on more off-road terrain than its competitors. The articulated steering has added geometric arrangements of three individual joints that improve machine manoeuvrability to move up-and-down, side-to-side, and twist left-and-right. This feature allows the articulated steering to oscillate an extra 10°.

The engine is a diesel powered, four-cylinder which hits 2,300 rpm producing 136 hp (Power ISO 14396). With its power, the machine can climb a 53% incline without using the vibration setting and can climb a 48% incline while compacting soil. With the power to climb, you would expect a noisy machine but with a cab the HAMM Smooth Drum Roller (14T) guarantees 106db (WA).

Operating at 14,240 kg, the Hamm Smooth Drum Roller (14T) splits its load close to a 60/40 with the front axle load weighing 8,215 kg. Optimised with the HAMM Compaction Quality (HCQ) – The products are designed to provide feedback on compaction control and processes. The HCQ helps determine how firm the soil has been compacted and whether a further pass is needed to achieve the compaction required.
